US Government is a one semester required senior class that examples how our government was established and upon which rules of law we choose to govern ourselves. The subject will focus on the great work of the American Constitution and how it exists in theory and practice. The class will also compare our government with those in other parts of the developed and underdeveloped world.  This is a class that you will bring with you as you exit high school and enter the big world.  Adventure with confidence and know what is expected of you as a citizen of this great country!

My Mission Statement:

Liberty Bell

My mission is to make school an enjoyable and learning environment that emphasizes zest in my subject matter along with the quest for knowledge and the pursuit of the truth. I will teach responsibility for one's actions, respect for individuals, society and nature, and a never say die attitude that always includes a silver lining and a chance to learn and profit from every experience. I want every student to realize that the most important thing that they can do is to make the world a better place and that we all have significant impact on the portions that we touch. It is important to point out that we can all help out those less fortunate then ourselves and that we can make a difference in the lives of all whom we meet. I would also like to add that a little humor sprinkled in makes even the darkest day a little brighter.

Winter Study Guide Question (December 18, 2003):
"How does the recent changes in Moammar Kadafi's stance on weapons of mass destruction improve Libya's dealings in the world's economy? Do you think that the capture of Saddam Hussein had any impact or this a mere coincidence?"

Meet the challenge-get your class work done early.   "The mile is run one step at a time."  See below for details:
