Where I am coming From:
I was born in Kentucky the son of an Army colonel. I have since in Germany, Indiana, Illinois, and Florida and have visited 46 states in our great country as well as over 20 countries in Europe and the Pacific. I graduated from Kennedy High in 1978 where I lettered in varsity Football and Track, while also competing in Weightlifting and Baseball. I Graduated from California State University at Long Beach in 1982 with a major in History and a minor in Geography. I was always on Honor roll or Deans List. I was also a member of History and Geography Associations as well as the Ski, Sailing, Windsurfing and Karate Clubs. Then I became a waiter for seven years while waiting for schools to hire teachers.
I have taught at WHS since 1986 in English, ESL, Special Education, Math, Industrial Technologies, Physical Education and mostly the Social Sciences. I have coached 48 seasons of varsity athletics and been Yearbook advisor for 13 years. I have twice taken 75 students to Washington D.C. and 6 times taken 45 students skiing in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as three groups to France, England, Italy and Spain.
