These are the Political Brochures, Editorials, and Bumper stickers of each winning group. This assignment was to randomly choose three students for each group that was to work for an advertising company. The assignment that they were awarded was a political campaign of a candidate for President of the United States or the Governor of California. They were also assigned to vote for one proposition and against another. All three portions of the assignment were chosen at random. The groups were to infuse political propaganda into each portion of the assignment which consisted of a brochure, an Editorial Page, two letters to the editor of a major publication, a political position paper of their candidate, a bumper sticker, two radio commercials and a television commercial (video) of 30 seconds in length. The groups obtained information via the assorted web pages, mailers, calling the office of each campaign, as well as from news agencies. This project is three weeks in duration and, to add a bit of a spin, two groups are chosen at random to switch accounts at the half way point of the project. The students love this project.
